Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (Before preparing the smoothie, soak the rolled oats in water for about 15-20 minutes to soften them. Drain and rinse them before using.)
  • 1 small green apple
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 cup water or unsweetened green tea
  • a small slice of ginger (optional)
  • ice cubes
  • 1 cup protein powder (Using the scooper inside. Unflavored I find works best!)
  • 2 stevia packets (optional) (zero calorie alternative for sweetening)
Instructions
  1. Blend the Smoothie:

    In a blender, combine the protein powder, soaked rolled oats, chopped green apple, kale (or spinach), cucumber, and ginger slice (if desired).

  2. Pour in the water or unsweetened green tea.

  3. Add a handful of ice cubes to make the smoothie cool and refreshing

  4. Blend everything until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
